I will teach your child beginner piano as well as basic music theory using a fun and flexible approach. I use exciting and engaging activities to teach them about important beginner musical concepts (e.g. proper piano positions, identifying and reading notes, musical terms) and to walk them through their piano book. Especially for younger kids who are new to piano, I incorporate plenty of educational and customized games to encourage them to enjoy their lessons.
You will need: a piano/keyboard at home, piano books (I will give my recommendations based on your child’s age and level), theory books (optional)
Note: piano and music theory can be taught separately, but are most commonly combined
